APF members commit to action on reproductive rights

NHRIs can play a key role to promote greater understanding of reproductive rights and protect them in practice, according to a new report by the APF and the United Nations Population Fund.

 

Advocacy campaign secures new opportunities for contribution

National human rights institutions will have more opportunities to contribute to the work of the Human Rights Council following a major review of the United Nations body.

 

New team trained in NHRI capacity assessments

A growing team of experts from APF member institutions will now be available to facilitate capacity assessments with national human rights institutions in the Asia Pacific and beyond.

 

NGO coalition sets out priorities for 2011

The Asian NGOs Network on National Human Rights Institutions has set out a number of key action points to guide its work over the coming year.
